Cuphead Review

Cuphead Review Cuphead is a run and gun indie video game, that was published and developed by StudioMDHR. Originally released as an Xbox exclusive during september in 2017. Cuphead can be played by yourself or played co-op locally with a friend. Style Cuphead’s style is heavily inspired by the rubber hose style of animation. Looking like the old Disney cartoons brings a special uniqueness to Cuphead. The images, the characters movements, the backgrounds, everything resembles the old 1930’s cartoons. Cuphead’s soundtrack is widely praised for how good it is. Inspired by the barbershop quartet style of music makes the games soundtrack very unique and pleasing. Gameplay Cuphead is a very difficult and rage inducing game to say the least. The majority of the levels are boss fights, and any number of them could take you hours to beat. While you might think fighting boss after boss will make the game very repetitive, it doesn’t. Every boss has their own unique set of mecha...

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Review

Call of Duty Black Ops IIII Call of Duty is a long running video game franchise with the first game released in October of 2003. There are about fifteen Call of Duty titles in the franchise but we are here to talk about the newest release, Call of Duty Black Ops 4. Developed under Treyarch, Beenox, and Raven Software; and published by Activision. Black Ops 4 was released on October 12th, 2018. Multiplayer Call of Duty’s Multiplayer has always been fast paced and frantic, that does not change in Black ops 4. In fact not much at all changes in multiplayer for Call of Duty. Over the past fifteen games there has been very little change in the gameplay of Call of Duty and Black Ops 4 is proof of exactly that. Every time a new Call of Duty is released they add new maps and some new guns, that feel like reskins from previous games. They also try to introduce new mechanics, but none of them are game changing. With Call of Duty Ghosts it was destructive environment, in  Advanced Wa...

Player Unknown's Battlegrounds

PUBG Review Playerunknown's Battlegrounds(PUBG) developed and published by Bluehole is widely considered to be the first battle royale game. This is true and not true. PUBG was originally a mod for the game Arma 2 and later a mod for Day Z making it the first battle royale, however it is not the first published battle royale game. PUBG quickly became popular after its release. Realism The gunplay in PUBG is mainly focused around aim. The high skill cap in aiming leaves most people simply relying on there aim to get the job done leaving little room for outplaying. There are many unique weapons to find whether they’re in supply drops or found on the floor. Each gun is good in its own way leaving preference as the deciding factor in your loadout. Since the guns are balanced it leaves less room for luck in finding good guns giving you more of a fair chance to win. The guns are realistic and mimic their real life counterparts very well. The bullet velocity, the ammo they take, t...

Fortnite Review

With the rise of the battle royale video game genre along came Fortnite which is considered by many the king of battle royale and currently the face of gaming. Unless you live on your own private island with no internet you have at least heard of it from someone or somewhere on the internet. Fortnite was developed by Epic Games and was released in 2017. Originally starting out as a zombie survival game with the Save the World game mode Fortnite had little success, but when Epic added a battle royale game mode Fortnite’s player base grew rapidly. Epic Games does a great job at keeping their player base entertained with new cosmetic items, new emotes, new limited time modes, map changes, new items, and a new story to go along with every season. The constant updates and new content is a big part of Fortnite’s success. The best thing about Fortnite is that it is completely free to play. You are not required to spend any money on fortnite, not even for PlayStation Network or Xbox Live m...
